 I really like this song! It's recorded very well and I love the lyrics. What inspiration... I feel you really put the right combination of instrumentation together to give you a solid, light platform to relay your positive message to your listeners. It has a very retro '80's club feel to it. Good reverb, nice synth pads, and the acoustic guitar is perfect. I actually listened to it twice, just to absorb your energy in it.  What a nice upbeat tune with capable accompaniment, to pull of this well intended message in such a joyful manner. The type of song I wish I could write, a feelgood, enjoyable few minutes, that can have a lasting positive effect on listeners who have a variety of favorite genres. Go Go Go

 One of the things I enjoy most is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song the song has a great slow build to a traditional pop song, then the electronic piano and guitar are a nice touch along the way. Vocally, the subtle "whisper" of Rick's singing just works here. This could be a song lots of performers sing - and I'd like to be one of them, too. Just a great, fun song. Engaged Pop-Song with acoustic inlays

 Catchy pop-song with persistant dance style. Nice intro on keys and melodious guitar tunes carry the recording. Important messages of the lyrics come from the heart and touching the soul. Rick Whittell has the right sympathetic vocal projection and make the song complete. Additional keyboard backing sound and virtuosly played acoustic guitar solos bringing really beauty into the song. This arrangemend sounds more creative than others. Overall perfect mixed and mastered influenced by contemporary pop music in perfect orchestration. Go - so upbeat and hopeful

 Get up and dance to this song. It's full of inspiration for doing whatever you have to do to get off your butt and take the bull by the horns and start checking things off your bucket list. Mr. Whittell has a catchy hook here, and has filled it in beautifully with some tasty acoustic guitar licks and lovely harmonies. Certainly an interesting departure from church ballads. Help yourself first and then you can help others. Such a great message!

"Breathtaking"

 The song completely takes you away. Then it turns around half into it and even takes it further to mainstream. The originality of the dialect in the female vocal adds uniqueness. This would play well on the radio. I believe it has commercial in it as well.

"Rick Line...A Thoughtful Songwriter"

Rick Line's song "Someone's Lost In The Mist" is professionally recorded. The instrumentation is well-mixed and well-thought out.. The lead guitar seems to form a duet with Mr. Line's voice which is engaging and complimentary. The lyrical content and rhythm could have been a production mismatch, but here, it works very well! His voice seems to be consistently honest and sincere and his choruses are well-placed and effective, although pleasantly understated. Mr. Line leaves us with an important message: that he can imagine and describe what it's like to br someone "left behind". It shows him to be him a thoughtful songwriter who can put feelings into his very descriptive lyrics. I enjoyed Mr. Line's "Someone's Lost In The Mist", and look forward to hearing more from him!

 Desde el comienzo del tema nos damos cuenta que estamos ante una canción que brilla por su originalidad. Los arreglos sutiles de guitarras, las bases rítmicas muy elegantes y con un hermoso tono de modernidad. Junto a esos pianos que susurran como si de ecos hermosos se tratasen, que brillan con mucha luz. Y sin duda lo que más sorprende en su escucha, es la voz de su protagonista con muy buena energía y esa dulzura que la hace ser muy emotiva. Impressive Lovesong

 This song grabed me right from the start. Nice tune with a good feel. Great mixture of acoustic rock in contemporary pop style. The drummer is playing his parts very engaged and a soft played acoustic guitar in the backround with additional hamond sound from the keys brings more beauty into the music. Rick Line´s distinctive feature of Nashville vocal making this wonderful composition complete. He also wrote the song and arranged the music. The lyrics comes from the heart and touches the soul. The chorus is lovely and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. A soulful voice in the refrain is an extra factor what brings additionally feeling into the music. I just can say, this sounds really like a very good love song. In a way, this song sounds more creative than others. Overall a very good arrangement from the composer. This is a nice lovesong and it could be a radio hit. Listen to the music and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

This ballad had impressed me deeply much. Melodious introduction on piano accompained by great chamber strings brings additionally beauty into the song and is an extra factor. Sounds really beautiful together and creates a great space in the backround. Nice duett with great female singer! Her unique dynamic voice is brilliant and has a great vocal projection making this wonderful composition complete. The chorus encapsulating deep feelings for the beloved. The romantic passion of the lyrics comes from the heart and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. Mixing and mastering is brilliant in appropriation versatile keyboard sounds. Professionell orchestrated tunes of the virtous fender rodes piano in the backround carries the recording. All instruments of this arangement stand out and are masterfull played like the soft accompaining acoustic guitar and the straight drums! She´s on the Road - Great spanish acoustic-guitar sound!

 This song influenced by folk music in syncopated flamenco style is really remarkable. I felt compelled to listen precisely. All the way from stanza to the chorus are accompained of brilliant acoustic guitars and fanatstic played solo parts. The music style is also mixed up with contemporary pop music and definitely very professional arrangened with additional instruments in the backround. The acoustic guitars are sounding lively and unleashing the imagination. The solo-parts includes soft melodical impression and come at the right time. The work that you are doing you can tell that you are very serious about it I've been doing music for a very long time now so I have no problem listening to different genres of music my favorite music of all is probably R&B but I also listen to alternative rock pop and any other music that has a great beat and the energy that the person is doing the song matters a lot also because you can feel however they're feeling at the time of doing it song if they put in their energy into it so keep up the good work - 5 stars!

The dance between lyrics and melody - "She's On The Road",

has a well blended balance between vocals and the background music. The dance between the two is a hard thing to achieve, and pull it off correctly. Rick, I feel that you have put a lot of work into your song presentation and you have done a very good job of finding the balance it takes to marry vocal and melody together. I am enjoying this tune and it drew me in from the very beginning. Being a singer myself, I very much react to a good vocalist and I feel that both the lead and back-up vocals here (which I believe are all one person and nicely done!) were very well executed. Hi Rick. Nice song. I might have reviewed it before, but as I am a fan of yours; here I go again. This song is by far one of the best I've ever heard on N1M... It's a song with wisdom in it, sense, sensibility and... a huge amount of passion. GREAT lyrics, GREAT instrumentation/recording, GREAT composition. Actually, the only bad thing you can say about it is that you pronounce the words a bit difficultly. But I have somewhat the same problem: I'm Belgian and I speak originally Dutch... But my music is sung in English. I'm glad that you call yourself a songwriter, 'cause you really know how to compose according to the rules of the trade ! This song is worthy of being played on the radio. Definitely. Is Angelina your daughter, or a close relative of yours ? As music should be mystification mostly, you perform a great job on generating this in me !

Arrangement: Nice intro with double guitars playing back and forth. Then comes the piano, lending a tasteful variation to the arrangement. I like the way the piano part is used in the middle, hauntingly melodic. Well done! Lyrics: A nicely written story of philosophical introspection. Vocals: Strong and clear. Good lead postion without being overpowering. The harmony vocals blend well to enhance the overall ambience. Mix: This is a nice mixture of all the instruments being well placed within the framework of the song. Drums are nice and laid back, giving a nice tempo and small flouishes here and there. Everything is crisp and clear but not harsh. Nice! I look forward to hearing more from this artist.

I like that the song starts right away with vocals. The usual style of having an instrumental introduction first, while nice, is kind of overused. So this was refreshing. And the harmonies are great! Perfectly balanced. Nice, smooth, velvety voice. I'd like to hear it stand out more in the mix. This would also make the lyrics easier to understand. Anyhow this song sounds professional-quality and I like it. Nice job!

Loved the start a great impact with the vocals really well balanced , rhythm section great and the brass is neat and tidy at the end of the verse, fire and will was interesting rhyme speaks of a fiery determination, its a good pop song and the lyrics are simple for the European market for sure, and the string section is nicely interjecting through the song, catchy should be a hit here and hopefully on other charts.

I like this song! It is well written. The lyrics are easily understood in content and intention. The chorus is very catchy, and leads one to sing along without stumbling over the phrasing. The arrangement is very well thought out and blended into a musical flavor that is never boring or easily dismissed as just another "dance tune". On the contrary! Once you begin to listen to this song, within the first ten seconds, I can tell it's a complete song and needs nothing to enhance it or make it palatable. The vocals are distinct and clear, and the vocalist has had some experience with knowing how to "work the mic". She also knows how to present her vocals within the scope of the arrangement, and not oversing or undersing the flavor, her phrasing is well within the melody, with just a hint or two beyond that arrangement to give it her own melodious intent. The overall mix is excellent! Nothing is too loud, or too soft, each instrument is well balanced within it's own sphere of melody or rhythm. Well done! I look forward to hearing more from this artist.

Excellent mix with the sounds of a Nile Rogers type back beat and guitar riff. A First Class execution that resonates with the words twinned with lyrics. Message of this song is you got to keep the Rule #1 Don't let anyone steal your wind or fire! This song really helps me see things clearly when it comes to being you, don't let the hangers on suck you dry and steal your light! A bit like Dua Lipa's song "I've Got My Rules!" I love it! Keep putting this out there, you surely have a Hit Song. I don't know who the vocalist is but she has an amazing talent and unique voice.

Nice easy listening start, I like your soft vocal, the piano underpins the song well. The finally made it line (hook) took the song onto another level for me thought I recognised to from an older pop song so it has pop appeal, Angeline is also interesting wondered if you might have given that to the song title. I see two songs intertwined, which makes it interesting as a twist and turn road. Coming into land tells me flying cars, rocky road, maybe narrow road ? Thank you for the song.

Good early 90s pop song

It has a lot of early 90s pop. A little bit jazzy with that saxophone and just easy to listen to. Follows pop structure perfectly. Catchy chorus and a strong vocal track. I can’t really find anything to say about it that would help. I mean maybe let the bridge breath a little bit and tone down on the instrumentals a little bit, but then again it sounds good the way it is. It keeps the high tempo of the song going and it never brings you down from a good pace. I say good job. I’ll definitely check out some more stuff to see what else you got. Consider me a fan!

Have listened to this song a couple of times. Grabed me right from the start. An nice love-song with good feeling. A great mixture of pop with groovy beat. This is a wonderful arrangement in which good pointed trumpets accompanes the whole song. The singer beginns with her unique vocals but the whole composition is more various. The brilliant sound from strings carry this perfect composition and virtous accompaining stratocaster sound from the e-guitar in the backround brings some more rythm into the music. The engaging drums and the bass-lines are also very special in this arragmend. The harmonic language unleashes feelings of someone who wanna touch the heart of his beloved. The romantic passion of the refrain comes from the heart and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. The bridge is an extra factor and brings additionally beauty into the music. This song is definitely professional and very creative. The instruments are extremely good played from a very talented musican. Very good mixing and perfectly well done composition. But why do I tell this? Because this is a wonderful pop-song with dancfloor influences and could be a radio hit. It´s original and I´m sure, you will also like to add it. Let others know your recommedation.

We loved this one at once! Good catchy intro and drive took attention. That is just a perfect Radio song in a good way. Not overproduced and meaningless... This is a great track folks, it's got a stomping back beat with sweet vocals and melody. From the ground up, the song is polished and interesting. The drums are well balanced and creative, there is a choppiness to the guitar and synth rhythm that gives the song the reggae flavour and the horns put the cherry on that cake. Getting to know someone is tricky when someone is either shy or defensive. This song beautifully explains the things you should say to someone you want to get to know. Great stuff !!

Bonita voz y bonita canción. Canción sin abusos instrumentales, haciendo resaltar lo que tiene que resaltar, la voz. En general me ha gustado mucho todo, la parte del estribillo con coros un poco menos y el solo que viene después lo suprimiría. En general buena. Beautiful voice and beautiful song. Song without instrumental abuses, highlighting what has to be highlighted, the voice. In general I liked everything, the part of the chorus with a little less chorus and the one that comes after it would suppress it. Generally good.

Very beautiful introduction! Good choice of vocalist. I love the entire production but the solo I would have loved to hear as a guitar solo. No problem, it works either way. It's just a personal preference. Other than that I love the production. Great work. What a lot of reviewers might not point out is the sonic quality. It's excellent. High level !

The song starts in a very deIicate way and we can already say the sound and the recording are sophisticated. And the vocal is impeccable ! And then a chorus withl harmonies, catchy, and string arrangements : this already deserves three stars at the least ! rI just would have found another sound for the solo. Good idea : the breaks and silences on the chorus before the end. C ould have used a short middle eight perhaps ? But anyway this is a good song. I shouldnt compare with an innternational supergroup from Stockholm (because all Swedes are sick and tired of that) but I'm a fan of them four, and I have to admit the same desire to create an unstoppable, compelling track is there, enbossed into that song. The song has impressed me deeply much. I like the long melodramatic introduction with a piano theme followed by great chamber orchester strings influenced by classical music with patterns from Renaissance what brings additionally beauty into the song and is an extra factor for me. Sounds really beautiful together and creates a great space in the backround. Kasimira Borisova with her unique dynamic voice and brilliant vocal projection make this wonderful composition complete. The short phrased chorus encapsulating belief or ideal. The romantic passion of the lyrics comes from the heart and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. Mixing and mastering is brilliant in appropriation of different music styles and versatile instrumentation. Professionell orchestrated melodies and a virtuos rock-guitar in the backround carries the recording. Ambitious arrangement from Rick Gisslén, who wrote the lyrics and established with this recording also a unconventional compostion style. Listen to the song and I´m sure, you will like to add it. I love how it starts out. The music slowly sneaks up on you as it builds before the singer starts. It builds then the female voice enters the song, which lacked luster. A Moving Evocative Piece of Sophisticated Music

From the very opening of this song I was drawn in. I never expected such high quality nor to be taken on such a powerful journey. This is very cinematic music. I see a cafe in the sticks or a sweeping landscape in view with a car and a sad woman driving down the highway alone after a tough journey. Very beautiful.
